Roger Waters got to play first on July 12, 2006 in the city of Lucca in Tuscany, Italy. He opened the show with tracks from The Wall then proceeded right into the album he wrote about Syd, Wish You Were Here. Rogers’ voice almost broke at the start of the song when he said, “We dedicate this whole evening to Syd, my old friend…” The show was broadcast live on FM radio RAI and wonderfully a copy floated right away onto the net [Thanks metro cubo]. It’s an incomplete show without the second part, a complete performance of Dark Side Of The Moon. This one’s from Roger Waters. None of these tracks have been officially released.
