Pink Floyd en Venezia es el concierto final del Tour de Pink Floyd y fue el Sábado 15 de Julio de 1989. Fue un concierto espectacular y tuvo un gran reconocimiento de todo el mundo.
El escenario empezó a formarse 3 días antes en las aguas venecianas. El concierto fue tomado desde varias posiciones, una cámara estaba en el Noroeste del Palacio del Dux viendo completamente la Plaza de San Marcos. Otra cámara estaba cerca de la Basílica de San Marcos y otra enfrente del escenario.

Este concierto en España es una autentica joya ya que contiene la pieza What God Wants Part I del álbum Amused to Death (el mejor en solitario del bajista de Pink Floyd) antes de que se lanzara en disco en septiembre de 1992 y del cual no hubo gira, por lo que no tenemos conocimiento que este tema fuera nunca tocado en directo hasta 1999 en su gira In the Flesh – Live que aunque no viene en el setlist del material oficial, si que tenemos constancia que en algún concierto la toco.

Los 3 últimos tracks son completamente nuevos , y forman un conjunto de 11 minutos
instrumentales. Estas tomas falsas probablemente provienen de una primera versión de el álbum "The Division Bell", y revelan que la primera intención de los Floyd fue hacer una pieza instrumental larga donde un primer grupo da paso a " Marooned " , y terminando en una tercera parte con percusiones . Esta tercera parte fue abandonada para la versión final del álbum, pero sus armonías fueron reutilizados en el tema "High Hopes"

Pink Floyd - Antiques (1967-1971)

En 1967 diversas bandas lanzaran al mercado discos con música diferente a la conocida en ese momento, con viajes interestelares, sonidos extraños y letras confusas, se estaba gestando la psicodélica. Tal fue el caso del Sgt. Pepper de los Beatles, Their Satanic Majesties Request de los Stones o The Doors, evidentemente de los Doors.
Pink Floyd no fue la excepción y como prueba este bootleg. Este cd recoge demos y outtakes de temas que serían incluidos en el primer álbum de su carrera, más alguna rareza de su genio y fundador Syd Barrett. Este cd lo tenia olvidado, ya que soy mas de la transición desde TDSOTM a THE WALL, lo rescato y lo subo por que nunca hay que olvidar los inicios.
