Este concierto de Pink Floyd en 1977 fue el primero en el Estadio Olímpico desde los Juegos Olímpicos de 1976. Hubo dos grandes conciertos ese verano en el Estadio. Pink Floyd y Emerson, Lake & Palmer (este último lanzado oficialmente, audio y vídeo).
El concierto estableció una asistencia récord en el Estadio Olímpico con alrededor de 80,000 personas. Waters se lesiono un pie y tuvo que ir al hospital después del concierto. Concierto famoso por el escupitajo de Waters a un espectador y por circular la leyenda de que aqui nació la opera Rock The Wall.
